Dr. Mike Bellinghausen has been practicing for 20 years and graduated from Washington State and Oregon State Colleges of Veterinary medicine in 1984. He has owned and operated Kenmore Veterinary Hospital since 1990. He was past president of the Seattle King County Veterinary Medical Association and is currently serving on the City of Kenmore Downtown Task Force Committee. His areas of interest include orthopedic surgery, cardiology and oncology. He lives in Bothell with his wife Debbie, his 9 year old daughter Stephanie, his 1 1/2 year old Golden Retriever/Boarder Collie "Molly", his two-cats KiKi and K-2, and two guinea pigs- Calvin and Squeekers. His family loves to ski, camp and fish.

Dr. Mary Norton is a 1977 graduate of Washington State College of Veterinary Medicine. She lives in North Bend with her husband Joe and her two daughters Lin (16) and Annie (14). They share their home with two Australian Shepherds "Breeze" and "Mikey," three cats "Beauty," "Tigri" and "Rascal," as well as two rats, three horses and 14 chickens. Her outside interests include gardening, music, hiking and horseback riding and helping out with school and 4-H. She also works on wildlife projects and is involved in park and open space conservation.
Susan Sage is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has been with KVH since 1997. Her motto is "all cats are perfect." Susan oversees the entire technical and kennel staff and ensures all the patients are made comfortable and taken care of. She is in charge of ordering all the hospital supplies and prescription diets. She is the proud parent of a guinea pig "Hulk," six cats "Robin," "Sancho Mitner," "Dilly," "Shorty," "Dot" and "Blackberry," and two dogs "Shu Shu" and "Jake." She enjoys her many pets, reading, going to cat and antique shows, camping and hiking, and attending rock concerts.
Jeremy Thomas is a veterinary technician and has been with KVH for about a year. He began his career in Dallas, Texas where he worked in many veterinary hospitals, gaining experience in large and small animals, as well as exotics. He plans to apply to WSU College of Veterinary Medicine in the future. He lives in Marysville with his 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier "Chewy." He enjoys camping, fishing, skiing, mountain biking, roller-blading and golfing. He is a golf professional and still plays in events, including the Canadian Tour.
Julia Haldane is a receptionist/veterinary assistant and has recently joined our staff in March. She has dreamed of working in a veterinary hospital since she was 6 years old. She has worked for two veterinary hospitals including a 24-hour emergency/specialty center. She lives in Mill Creek with "Kizee," a 4 year old Chihuahua/Pekinese/Dachshund mix and "Taffy," a 2 year old'ish cat. In her spare time, she has her own photography business.
Loretta Heath is our kennel manager and has been with KVH since 1999. Her duties include overseeing the care of all our boarders and hospitalized patients, as well as assisting the DVM's and technicians. She lives with her husband Jim and enjoys her two grandsons. She has a houseful of pets she considers as her children-seven cats and a turtle. "Fuzzy Kitty" is a 20 year old cat, "Cruiser" is a 12 year old Beagle and "Floyd" is a 6 year old American Eskimo, just to name a few of her pets. She enjoys her family, friends, pets, gardening and camping.
Bonnie Hess and Douglas Royea are our part-time kennel assistants. Bonnie graduated from Bothell High School in June 2004 and plans to go to Shoreline Community College and become a nurse. She has a 16 year old cat named "Butterscotch" and a10 year old dog named "Katie."
